What to Bring With You
We ask that all new patients bring the following:
- A copy of their insurance card
- A list of any medication that they’re taking (including over-the-counter products)
- Relevant health history information.
All of our new patient paperwork is available online, making it easy to complete when it’s convenient for you. Simply process your information through our website, or print it to bring it with you to your appointment. There’s no need to arrive early to fill out forms!
Know What to Expect
Depending on what your particular concerns are, most of our new patients are first scheduled with the hygienist. After we’ve processed your paperwork, you’ll be escorted back to have any necessary X-rays taken, a periodontal evaluation and charting completed and cleaning (if applicable). Dr. Olesen will then step in to get to know you, discuss any questions that you have and perform a comprehensive dental exam.
Please plan to spend at least 60-90 minutes with us for your initial evaluation. Should you require any follow-up treatment, we can make arrangements to discuss your care plan in more detail. Or we can book your procedure at your earliest convenience.
Relax and Enjoy Your Stay
Are you feeling nervous about your treatment? We offer comfortable nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”) sedation to help you relax. It’s gentle enough so you can drive yourself home afterward.
While you’re here, take advantage of our complimentary Wi-Fi and beverages while watching one of the many flat screen televisions throughout our practice. Or read one of the latest magazines while we process your paperwork.
Insurance and Financing
As a courtesy, we will always submit all of the necessary paperwork and documentation to your insurance for you. If you need a particular procedure, we’ll estimate your coverage so that you have an idea as to what portion is covered by your policy. Flexible financing is available through CareCredit so that you can get started on your treatment right away.
